At the baths, they replaced the old traditional hair dryers with new ones that look like rectangular boxes mounted on vertical bars at adjustable height. The air blows from the front at a 45-degree angle and is triggered by movement. There are motion sensors somewhere in the box, and I was told I had to wave my hand underneath – or in front of it – to switch it on. Well… I waved an entire symphony until someone told me I shouldn’t wave but simply hold my hand underneath. I did so, and it worked… for a few seconds, then it stopped. I waved my hand again, it started, then stopped… I gave up and went out into the sun. New tech, high tech…idiots…
