Tunisia, Carthage, archeological site. I took a lot of photos of the ruins with the sea in the background and hibiscus on the side – at least that was the intention. When I showed my photos to a relative of mine who is a big traveler, passionate about history and loves Tunisia, it turned out that on most of the photos the hibiscus was en premier plan, the sea in the background and the ruins were somewhere in the corner like an unwanted detail, or totally missing. He said: ‘You were at the Archeological Site of Carthage and you’ve only took photos of hibiscus bushes. Don’t you like history? Hannibal, the Punic wars??’ Me: ‘I do, but the hibiscus….’.
I realized that he doesn’t know the secret of the hibiscus. Infinite Smile. Infinite Love.
