…in that Presentation Skills training… what to say, how to say it, posture, gestures, looks, voice, tone, intonation, inflection… and for online meetings, what camera to use, lighting, angle, background… it was terrible… 3 days, 8 hrs/day…. I am not an actoooor…..
Todaaay we had to attend another training, about the energy market, products, etc…. The presenter was an engineer. All we could see on screen was his head and his neck, there was no introduction, no ice-breaker, no moderation… no show… just the pure content…. My new colleague Fanni, who is more receptive to shows, wrote in the chat that the guy had probably skipped the presentation skills training. I answered: ‘What a relief…’
