On the night of October 21, I had a very interesting vision. It wasn’t the typical in-between image; it felt as someone had sliced through the tapestry of meaningless dreams, revealing a vivid scene behind it: I found myself in a vast green field with a forest in the background. The sun was obscured by clouds, though they were soft, white ones. I stood before a wooden shelter, attempting to make room for two pairs of swans: one pair of white swans and one pair of black swans. Inside the shelter there was a lower and an upper bench, both draped with clean, golden hay and pillows. The pillows were a pastel aquamarine color (what else?) with a greyish tint.
The white swans settled easily; they made themselves comfortable at the far end of the upper bench near the wall opposite the entrance. They sat there quietly, appearing content. The black swans, however, were initially hesitant to enter. The smaller black swan was restless, but she joined the white swans in the shelter and fell asleep. The other black swan, much larger, was extremely agitated. He seemed to be ‘talking,’ but his words were coming out in a muffled manner. It was as if they passed through a distorting portal or interface. Yet, I thought that the Black Swan was learning to speak and still struggling with it, but I was confident in his success.
Then, suddenly, two words emerged clearly. I felt happy, believing I was right and that those two understandable words marked a breakthrough. After uttering them, the Black Swan calmed down and joined the other black swan inside the shelter. When I awoke, I could only remember one word: “pinch”…. Infinite smile, Infinite Love.
