…because the company hired external consultants to lead the big project, the internal consultants like me are co-leads…meaning that the external species are doing the “heavy lifting” – as my boss said – and the internal species are observing, eventually make remarks (like me) and steer the events…in principle this is a nice, hedonistic work frame for me – but I realized that observing and participating to endless meetings is much more exhausting than doing the actual work…with this said…in Berlin I will be observing – again – in Jackson I will lead the solutions handover – this time without the external species. Further on I will be co-lead – with external species but without my boss – for the substations – which is quite complex – because it is not about serialized products manufacturing – but about projects of complex installations.
Basically for now the work is to not do anything just observe the external consultants’ work…
